AFTERCARE
Proper aftercare is crucial for effective healing and minimizing side effects. Here’s what to expect and how to care for the treated area:
Immediately After Treatment
-
Swelling and Redness: The area may be swollen, red, and sensitive, similar to a mild sunburn.
-
Blisters and Scabs: These are normal and part of the healing process.
-
Pain or Discomfort: A mild stinging sensation or tenderness is common.

General Aftercare Guidelines
Your skin may be a little red, warm or sensitive after treatment. This is completely normal and should settle as the area heals.
1. Keep the area clean
-
Keep the treated area clean and dry.
-
Avoid touching it unnecessarily.
-
Wear loose clothing if the area is likely to be rubbed or irritated.
-
2. Give your skin time to heal
-
If recommended, apply a small amount of the aftercare product advised by your technician.
-
A light covering can be used if the area needs protecting from clothing or everyday contact.
-
Avoid hot showers, swimming, saunas and strenuous exercise for around 48 hours.
-
3. Look after your skin
-
Avoid direct sun exposure on the treated area while it is healing.
-
Once the skin has settled, use SPF 30 or higher when the area is exposed to the sun.
-
Don't pick or scratch the treated area, even if small scabs or blisters appear.
-
